Creating meaningful mahi and designing thoughtful products for beautiful local businesses.

This grassroots programme guides you through business planning, regulatory compliance, marketing, and financial literacy, — supported by experienced coaches, practical resources, and 1:1 mentorship. 

An additional half-day product design lab follows on from for relevant participants. You'll have the opportunity to test ideas, explore production pathways, and move their concepts closer to market.

Our facilitator Whitney Nicholls-Potts is the founder of Kaputī Studio, an online community and studio space rooted in Whanganui. Kaputī Studio is a haven for those interested in tea, kōrero (conversation), and Māori storytelling. Through this initiative, Whitney aims to foster meaningful connections and celebrate Te Reo Māori while providing a space for creativity and dialogue.
